Review on Enhanced Viewing Experience: HP W2207 22 Inch Widescreen Monitor with Height Adjustment & Wide Screen Display by William Pettis

This is a great monitor that fully meets my expectations. The monitor was easy to set up and my new HP Pavilion m9252p computer didn't require any adjustments to get a great picture. The package includes a user manual and an installation CD, but this was not necessary as everything worked straight away. I haven't encountered any issues with unwanted reflections off a glossy glass surface, but I think it might be a valid concern. A nice feature is a pair of pole-mounted brackets that manage all of the device's cables. There are four cables to organize, including DVI, power, USB, and speaker cables. The monitor rotates from landscape to portrait, but that's a bit inconvenient since all the cables are connected. This model has been superseded by the new HP w2207h and I couldn't tell any difference from my HP w2207. From what I've seen, the difference could be the addition of an HDMI port in the new version. I bought the monitor because I got a great price of around €250 plus €27 shipping. This is a price that is on par with some of the lesser known brands that are commonly sold.
