The fan turned out to be much larger than I assumed from the pictures (good). It's about the size of a mini iPad and very light when the batteries die. The cable is long for those with a desktop computer or those using a USB charger. The fan speed is perfect. The lowest setting isn't overly intrusive and moves the air for a fresher feel. But you can also increase the speed if you are really hot. Timer 1/3/5 shows hours. Great that you can turn the fan head up and down. Fan performance didn't drain my laptop's battery too quickly. Although at maximum speed it may be different. The only reason for 4 stars is that if you want to use a timer you have to decide what fan speed you want to keep it at. Because if you want to turn it off, the timer will reset. Otherwise this fan is pretty neat and can be used at work, school or even outside on a hot day at the beach or picnic with batteries or an external charger.
