This a pretty solid. corset? Bodice? Not really sure which would be the correct terminology. I purchased it to wear with some other pieces for a Renfest costume. Looks great. For reference, I usually wear a 1X or 2X in tops, depending on how snug, and the 5X fit great. I originally ordered the 6X cause I know how Chinese sizing tends to be, but it was laced as tight as it would go and I felt like it was too loose. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because it is "spiral steel boned" rather than traditional steel boned. Which gives it flexibility similar to plastic boning with better durability. However, I was really looking for something with a little more rigidity. Also, the laces are REALLY long. It is kind of difficult to find a way to tie them that keeps them from hanging too low without looking stupid. Other than those 2 minor complaints, top notch. Sorry, my phone is kind of in the way in the picture.
