I have 2 BaoFeng UV-5R HT (handhelds) and a new BaoFeng UV-82HP and I'm having trouble getting Kenwood mics to work once connected. This was my last attempt and when I connected this new one to each of the radios it worked flawlessly. I was able to transmit and receive with no issues so it's a good mic. The sound quality of the microphone speaker is much lower than that of a real radio speaker, but this is a compromise between the size and comfort of a handheld microphone and a lower sound quality. Good cheap price and works great! If you are looking for Kenwood style microphones, look no further!
