They are in fact almost the same size.
These 3mm beads are good quality with beautiful colors - especially for making belt beads. The size of the beads is pretty consistent unlike other beads I've bought. They are worth their price. I will definitely be ordering more (maybe 4mm) for other projects that require beads of the same size.
