This extension cord is great. If you are looking for a USB-C extension cable, this is the one for you. The box contains some packaging, documentation, a velcro strap to keep the cable secure, and the cable itself. Physically, the braided cable is strong yet flexible. Both the straight and angled plugs have strong rubber boots which I'm sure will prevent damage to the insulation next to the plugs. I like the dark silver color of the plugs and cord as it goes with everything. The corner connector is great. Before this cable, while charging my laptop or phone on my lap, the device would accidentally slide sideways and twist the thin USB-C cable up or down. With this rectangular connector, any lateral pressure simply reinforces the connector in the slot without bending or damaging it. In terms of performance, this cable successfully did the following: • Charge my Dell Latitude laptop at its native 65W output. Charger • Charged my Android Ulefone • Transferring files from a USB 3.2 Gen 2 SSD However, as the length of this cable increased, the transfer speed of my USB 3.2 SSD decreased. It's most likely not that particular cable's fault, but with more copper and more resistance there's always a slower speed between devices. The first photo shows the original transmission rate WITHOUT this extension, the second photo shows the transmission rate WITH this extension. You'll notice that the transfer speed was the bottleneck at around 160MB/s, while it was faster without the extender in the first photo. There was a card in the box saying that if you are using this cable in conjunction with a USB 2.0 cable you may need to swap one of the connectors. This is due to the nature of non-reversible USB connectors such as USB-A, USB-B, Micro-USB-B, etc. However, you only need to consider this if you are using TWO non-reversible USB adapters, one at a time on each side of the cable. This is rather unlikely, which makes this question largely moot.
