I work standing and have used a stack of three 2x12 boards for years to perfect my ergonomic keyboard height. Now I'm trying to arrange my workbench so that the pile of wood should be gone. This stand is perfect for my GoldTouch keyboard (*without* right number pad) and Logitech trackball. Not only does it look better than wooden blocks, but it frees up space on the table underneath. Now I keep my glasses, phone, snack plate or whatever underneath when I'm at my desk. The stand was easy to assemble and easy to adjust - just twist the threaded legs to raise or lower it. The only downside (depending on your taste) is that the threads are visible, so it has a kind of unfinished/industrial look (unless left out entirely). A huge bonus I didn't anticipate: I can lower the back edge of the stand relative to the front edge (each leg adjusts independently), allowing me to *lower* the backrest by tilting the keyboard away from me. It's much more comfortable on my wrists. LOVE him for it. The only problem was that it's slippery so my trackball slipped. This was easily solved with a small washer underneath.
