My daughter needed base layers for a winter hiking/camping trip we took in February. I was confused to buy her 1 or 2 pair as we were only there for 1 night. I stumbled across them and my opinion was made for me. My daughter is 12 years old and weighs almost 100 pounds. Bought her an XL and they fit well with limited space. It was warm at night and it absorbs moisture very well.
