Great backpack for school, travel and hiking. First, the backpack has a great design. That was the first thing that caught my eye when I stumbled over the backpack. It has plenty of pockets and while not all have enough space, they do what they are supposed to do. In addition, the dark gray complements the light brown border below and the slightly reddish side pockets. Outstanding color palette. Bright colors don't draw much attention, but that's okay. Not everything is meant to show up and grab attention. Clip-on straps on each side of the main zipper as well as on the bottom of the backpack enhance the look and portability. If you're carrying a tripod or umbrella and don't want to stuff it into the main compartment, you can attach these items to the straps. Secondly, as I mentioned earlier, there is really a lot of room in this backpack. I can safely stow my laptop in the laptop compartment while carrying a light hoodie, some books, shoes and other light items in the main compartment and don't feel like I'm carrying the whole bulk. The backpack keeps its stylish look and has space for all your essentials. There's also a front pocket that can fit chargers, small school supplies, sunglasses, and similar sized items. There are also mesh pockets on each side for water bottles, a thermos and some small items. Another notable pocket is on the back of the pack, just below one of the shoulder straps. It seems designed to hold your wallet so it's closer to your body where you can feel movement in case someone tries to peek. Finally, the backpack's construction feels solid, smooth, and durable. It doesn't look like it's going to fall apart or wear out anytime soon. Can't wait to take it on a day trip or on my next trip. I would highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a new school backpack or secure storage for travel or just getting around town.
