I bought this coat for a trip to Iceland. Instructions were to have WATERPROOF clothes, not a simple raincoat but something actually WATERPROOF so I picked this one, reminds me of the bright yellow slicker I had as a kid. I expected waterproof-ness but also stiff heavy plasticky material. NOT! Turns out this is my new favorite jacket. Great color, perky blue and white striped lining, SOFT and LIGHTWEIGHT, good pockets, removable hood and . yes, waterproof. I find myself taking it everywhere! No humid feeling like wearing a baggie, don't know how they did it but we have waterproof (Oh! and WINDproof) without being sealed in plastic.This jacket is great!
