KINIPS 3.5mm to 3.5mm Cable Review Male 1.2m I use this cable to connect my iPhone to full-size headphones. The connector outer shells are small enough to fit through a relatively small hole in a thick silicone rubber iPhone bumper case, while the nylon braided outer shell is strong and prevents the cable from kinking. The cable and contact impedance is low enough not to affect the sound. Suitable for connecting Low-Z headphones to phone or MP3 player outputs. I have not tested this cable for its ability to reject induced and/or capacitively coupled noise, so I cannot comment on its suitability for use in high-z circuits. Physically, the connector hub diameter is .13750 inches, which is within of the mechanical area is tolerances. for 3.5 mm jack socket (0.13779 nominal). As with any audio cable, the connector should only be connected and disconnected by moving the outer shell of the connector, not the cable itself.
