Review on Avondale Backless Bar Stools by Christopher Knight Home - Set of 2, Brown by Christina Fritz

I ordered these to replace the large high back bar stools. There were similar but cheaper ones, but they all had to be assembled and the reviews were superficial. I ended up ordering them mainly based on positive reviews and that they didn't require assembly. They arrived today and I am very happy with how they look. They appear to be well made and very durable. At first I had some concerns about their stability as they are quite tall (over 30 inches) but narrow. However, they don't wobble at all and don't seem to tip over easily. I like that you can either sit on them or "straight ahead" or ride them, which I like to do. Since they have no backing, they fit comfortably under my kitchen counter and don't bother passers-by. My only concern is the durability of the self-proclaimed "fake" leather upholstery and seats. If they hold up well over time, I'm very happy. The plastic legs on them made the chairs slide on my hardwood floors, but I replaced the plastic with felt and they no longer slide when I try to sit down.
