I use this as a talk button in games which is very handy. The switches are optical switches, which is very nice. However, the "blocker" interrupts the optical switch and does not go all the way down when pressing the pedal corners. I had to remove some plastic on the corners of each pedal, but everything works fine now. While doing this, I also moved the wires so that they come out of the plastic on the side instead of the back. My pedals get pushed against the wall so the wires eventually fail due to the constant pushing against the wall. The software requires some thought to understand this. I'm pretty sure it's a human problem. I lost all hope that peripheral software would be logical and simple. There are surprisingly few alternatives to this product, but it works and I get my money's worth.
