My ASUS 700G3T is replacing an old ASUS laptop I've owned for years, so I ordered it expecting a certain level of quality, especially when buying a $3000 laptop. So far everything is fine with the computer, but the power supply is of poor quality. It comes in two parts, like many of them, where you connect the end of the cable to the charging box. There is about 1mm of play in this connection and I only have to move the adapter to loosen the connection between the two parts, although at first glance they look connected. You won't even notice until you see that the battery is dead even though you're plugged in. I called ASUS and they just won't send a replacement adapter for my $3,000 3 day old laptop. They refer me to the Revain dealer, although if I prefer they will issue me an RMA so I can send the adapter in for repair and/or replacement and service. They just can't send a replacement adapter, they just can't. Well it's a joke.
