This is magic! I remember using the spray as a kid and buying it on a nostalgic whim. My hair is very long (to my hips), dyed, baby thin and kept straight. It tangles terribly, breaks easily and unravels when brushed, especially when wet. I was just hoping it would help reduce frizz and be something affordable to straighten my hair while braiding, but I tried applying a moderate amount, about a quarter size, from about ear length down to my hair. Normally I wouldn't have dared, but then I took a wide-toothed comb and lo and behold, it ran through my hair like a hot knife through butter. The?! I could hardly believe it. The smell of the product is light, fresh and does not last long. The consistency is almost gel-like and is easy to spread. It will smooth unruly hair and add some extra moisture between washes, but this product really shines as a detangler on wet hair. Truly a miracle cure for owners of sensitive and difficult to comb hair!
