Review on 🔌 StarTech.com 3-Port M.2 NVMe SSD & 2x SATA III Adapter Card - PCIe 3.0 Adapter (PEXM2SAT32N1) by Montrell Copeland

This is a rare item with THREE (yes, 3) M.2 card slots. ONE NVMe slot connected to the PCIe bus (rear). Older computers can't boot directly from it, but the operating system needs to see it. Then TWO M.2 SATA slots, each with a SATA connector. EACH SATA connector must be connected to a SATA controller port on the motherboard. M.2 SATA slots are NOT connected to the PCIe bus (except for power). I use it for a FreeNAS server with a small mirrored SATA boot device and then a large fast NVMe drive for caching (plus other drives for storage).
