Great steering wheel cover.

This DIY leather bag is very easy to attach, customize and sew. I bought it for my used 2017 Prius with leather and plastic interior. The original leatherette steering wheel cover had a small tear that quickly became large and unsightly. I've tried leather cord that wraps and sticks with an adhesive backing, but I quickly realized it would look and feel terrible. There is no way to apply it and have a finished look. Then I found this product, read the reviews and watched the video. Works perfectly! It requires no sewing skills. Watch the short video carefully. I just made a hole in the case to start sewing and that was it. The rest of the "sewing" is wrapping the needle around the leather seams already sewn into the cover. Then tighten each pass and move on. When you get to the steering wheel where it attaches in the middle, pull the leather taut to eliminate the bulge and continue on the other side and continue "stitching". If you make a mistake, repeat the steps to find the mistake, correct it, and continue again. I didn't like a section that was too snug enough, I opened up the section, paid a little more attention and was pleased with the effort, look and feel. My steering wheel looks better than my own. The leather case goes well with the interior. You will receive 2 needles, each needle has more than enough leather cord attached to your handlebars. Tip: With each "sewing step" pull on the thread to tighten it to your liking. Do not pull with a needle. If the needle and leather thread are separated, use another needle with thread attached. I completed the job using just a needle and leather thread. I am very satisfied with the result. It took me less than an hour. Easier than sewing clothes😂. The case looks great! Another tip, I made a few knots along the handlebars and the knots are not visible. You can slide the knot into the space between the trunk and the steering wheel, step back and sew the knot. I placed the nodes on the back of the steering wheel at the junction of the steering wheel and the pillar.
