No Good: Audio & Video Accessories
Bought to replace my small L-band patch antenna (RTL-SDR blog). This patch works fine, but I was hoping this one would work better. I even bought a Nooelec SAWbird+ iO - Premium Saw & Cascaded Ultra-Low Noise LNA to work with this PCB antenna as the RTL patch has a built in LNA. Unfortunately no luck. RTL is 5-10dB stronger at 1550GHz. Come back. No need to spend money.
- This small Inmarsat patch antenna is designed for size-sensitive and portable applications. It measures just 95mm x 79mm (3.75" x 3.10") and weighs just 21g (0.75oz)!
