I had low expectations for this product. The negative reviews were severe and I'm not thrilled that everything appears to be made in China, including many of the classic Italian brands. Not only are Italian brands out of stock, they are outrageously expensive when in stock. While it's not the best stainless steel I've seen and the tolerances aren't absolutely perfect, the seals are good, it doesn't leak and best of all it runs flawlessly on my new induction hob. . I recently gave away some of my 20 year old Italian stainless steel pans because they wouldn't work on my induction cooktop. They were made of quality metal, but even the best quality is useless if they don't work with your gear. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the not super high quality metal caliber and the technical tolerances. Much better than expected though. I'm losing faith in many people's reviews.
