Pretty but. Best Living Room Furniture

This is a beautiful thing. However, having just put together two similar tables from another manufacturer that cost about half the price but had a much better build quality, I have to say that while this is nice and will look good at first, it won't last long. It's badly done. If you like Potemkin peasant furniture - all for show and not for traveling - buy it. When preparing a house for sale, take it and by all means put it there. But if you are looking for even the bare minimum of quality and durability, this is not the side table for you. Why? For the following reasons: 1) All MDF except for the legs 2) The inner shelves are not attached, they just rest against the surfaces 3) Cams for eccentric locks seem to be attached to a notch in the foil. If you overtighten them they will warp and won't snag on the pin until you pull them out and bend them back with pliers. If you bend it with pliers, there is about a 33% chance that the cam will break the first time. The chance of the cam breaking in two increases to about 66% if you have to do the process a second time. I ended up just gluing the plate to the table because I messed up so many cameras. 4) To ensure this piece stays together when you move it, you need to glue it. You can't trust fists. 5) Finally, there were obvious staple holes on the back of the product. And there is some leftover glue that I had to use to assemble the part. I've gently wiped the wood glue off with a damp rag several times, but the matte black finish still had traces of glue and cleaning on the inside and back. This is the back side but if the parts were better quality glue wouldn't be necessary. In fact, this item is not worth the money. The problem with cheap tin cameras is unforgivable. I've never had such bad equipment on a production like this. Now that we have it we're going to put it up for the flea market instead of trying to use it ourselves.
