Works but no bass. Good for cables and connections

Purchased to connect Bose QuietComfort 35 Wireless Headphones to my Oculus Quest 2. 90 endings are great. As other reviews say, you have to twist and maneuver the 2.5mm end into the perfect spot to get sound to both ears. So yes it works. HOWEVER, no matter how I twisted the 2.5mm end, I couldn't get bass, making Beat Saber, Pistol Whip and the like unexciting. There was a noticeable difference in sound quality that really stinks. My usual setup is a pair of old-school Apple headphones with an extra cord tucked into the front of my shirt. Unfortunately I will send them back. The 2.5mm end just isn't built well enough.
