Be careful unless you specifically go for the 5.2 gallon size, they won't fit in your small 4 gallon trash can. I got the medium one based on measurements but after it arrived I realized it was meant for a dirty diaper or two and the like. Not suitable as a real garbage bag. At the same time, it perfectly blocks odors. Instead of returning the bag, I use plastic bags to pick up the litter, then put that bag in a BOS bag and in a bin lined with a store-bought trash bag that smells a little like lemon and bleach. Anyway, just use BOS on it. They're great at blocking odors, but not big enough. Their 5.2 gallon bags are way more expensive than what you get so I didn't order them. Glad I found 8 gallon odor blockers from the grocery store, they work well too.
