VERY SATISFIED IN CASES

Arrived on time. Turns out this is a new one, not a return. Shipped in a form fitting box, in a padded envelope. Bought a gold case for my gold iPad 1673 - perfect fit. I got it three days ago so can't comment on its durability but it's very similar to my first case which lasted almost four years with heavy use. I'm actually happier with the performance of this new case. Back: Semi-flexible with a flexible silicone border that wraps around the entire edge of the iPad and barely covers the front of the iPad to protect it. My iPad has a tempered glass screen protector that also has a case. The edges are a bit thicker than some cases but offer better protection. There are tiny silicone feet in each corner of the back panel to prevent the back panel from touching the table surface and protect the cabinet and furniture from scratches. Because it's silicone, the "feet" grip a flat surface and hold the iPad in place while typing. The case is easy to put on and take off, but stays in place very well. Enclosure Openings: > A rectangle for each set of top speaker holes > A series of small squares for the bottom speaker holes that are not perfectly aligned but allow for reasonable speaker alignment > A square large enough to easily connect in headphones > A rectangle exposing the camera lens, focus sensor and light source > Oval for the microphone > Rectangle for the volume buttons, large enough to be easily operated with thumbs > Rectangle for the charging port for easy access > Three more holes , which I believe are for accessing functions elsewhere on other iPad models > The power button is covered with a silicone rim but is easy to use. Flip Lid: Arrived already attached, although the seller's video shows the lid comes separately. I haven't deleted it, but I will if I use my iPad as a camera for a long time. A very handy feature for that. The pen holder is an inch wide elastic loop sewn in place. Based on past experience, I wonder if stitches can stretch over time if used frequently. The lid fits the iPad well and the magnetic on/off function works well, although the bottom of the case folds forward at the edges. The magnetic portion, about 3/4 inch wide, covers the entire edge of the lid, except for two inches at the top of the center portion (maybe there's something inside the iPad that shouldn't have magnetic contact?). (NOTE: If the magnetic on/off feature isn't working on your iPad, make sure it's turned on in Settings > Display & Brightness > Lock/Unlock > slide the switch to the On position). grainy skin. Microfiber inside, quite "velvety". They are sewn all around. My last case was stuck together and was peeling off the edges. The flap that connects the top to the base is also sewn to the top. When the top is folded down to use as a stand, the iPad stays in place quite well - both vertically and horizontally. price for quality.
