4 months of daily use, worked quite well. I plug in a USB mouse dongle, backup drive, webcam and HDMI monitor and everything works fine except for the USB mouse which often stutters. This doesn't happen when I plug the mouse dongle into my laptop's USB port. The long cable gives me more flexibility in choosing the hub's location, which is a major reason for the purchase. However, I've found that you can plug a USB cable extender into any of the short cable hubs and probably get even more flexibility. If I had thought about it before buying, I would have done it! (I think Lention sells a version with a short cable.) But it's worked well so far.
