My husband and I have MacBook Pro computers and we needed a cable for the rare occasion when we were in which we need to connect to our TV. This 10-foot cable works flawlessly with plug-and-play - we just plug the HDMI connector into the TV and the USB-C/Thunderbolt-C end into one of our computers and it works right out of the box without anything like changing settings or having to install software. We can also easily stream my son's Samsung Galaxy phone. We didn't experience any pixelation, distortion, buffering or similar issues with any of the devices we tested, even when the cable or computer is moved during use. My husband got a new computer with an M1 chipset and at first thought the cable wouldn't work on him. He had to push the cable all the way into the opening - it was tighter that way; I didn't have this problem on my MacBook which is 3 years old. Visually, the graphics look great on our LG OLED 4k TV. The nylon braided cable is of high quality, and the gold-plated connectors feel solid too. The HDMI end fits snugly against the TV, but USB-C can slip out of the Mac (although I believe this is an issue with computers in general, it's not a cable-specific issue). It's annoying that a cable comes from our TV which is otherwise wireless. We don't use this HDMI cable that often as we mostly use built in TV streaming apps or a cable box so it's nice to have a Velcro cable tie on this cable so we can roll it up neatly. box when not in use. Others notice their cable getting warm, but we've had no issues with the USB-C or HDMI ends overheating. I will definitely update this list if we have this issue. The only issue we had was getting it to fit tightly into my husband's computer - he was worried he'd break something if he pushed it in too hard, but it turned out to be what he did needed. For a few minutes he would actually throw in the towel and refuse the cable until he decided to keep trying and pushing. Overall we're very happy with it once we've gotten it up and running on both machines.
