. These are very light and durable snake alligators. I've used them on at least 5 hunts. Like all snake alligators, they are warm. In the photos I used a small drawstring to hold them on the boots. Don't do like me, the bungee started staining the turtle's skin. I switched to a full leather strap. Works perfectly. I hunt mountain deer and spend about 8 hours with them in the field. So far they are very strong. I can't say much about snake protection yet and I hope I never have to test them. Great product, they are worth every penny
