Review on 💅 Nailhead Trim - Antique Gold (5 Yards): Enhanced Searchability by Linda Diaz

I bought this to upholster a bed frame from IKEA cheap. I used a wool army blanket and some batting and then trimmed this trim about 1.5 inches from the edge of the rectangle. It's a bit wonky, but overall pretty easy to work with. About 1 in 5 nails will have holes, but depending on your project, it can be difficult to line them up properly so you don't end up with "loose" nails. a couple of pieces without holes (about 8) to line up the holes at the end of the line and attach a tie at the corner where the two pieces with holes meet. It's not strong enough for heavy upholstery projects because it's just aluminum or something. If you have a lot of upholstery materials that need smoothing, buy real upholstery pot holders or you'll just end up with bulges. However, this is a great opportunity to easily pull off the soft upholstered look with a little planning. Actually a good compromise for an IKEA guest bed and headboard. (I posted a bad picture of the headboard, but you can still see how difficult it is to get a perfectly even finish. I think it still looks great when you put pillows and linens on top). And the last thing: the turns do not always have the opportunity to go straight. I had a piece of chipboard under the padding (no foam, just 2 layers of fiberfill for some fluff) and I broke at least 6 or 7 nails because they wouldn't take a hammer hit on the particle. Blackboard. Go slow, use the hammer and be patient. For $15 it ended up working out just fine. Moral of the story: Good value for updating or decorating in straight lines as long as you have a little patience and a little squinting when looking at the finished work. ;)
