What can I say? I'm so tired of plastic fuel containers with holes in their spouts. Not to mention the new "We save your life" style that requires you to push the spout down to start pouring. Who would have thought that holding a 5 gallon, 40 pound plus plastic container upside down and somehow catching/squeezing the spout to get the fuel flowing would be a good idea. Who asked for it? Anyhow, it was a great pleasure to find this great metal gas cylinder manufactured and designed by Eagle. It features an easy-to-access, spring-loaded handle that opens the spout when squeezed, then closes firmly when released. What a new concept. This model also features a removable spout/funnel for precise filling. I'll have to try 2-1/2 gallons, but for now I'll be sure to replace all my broken plastic tanks with Eagle UI-25-FS tanks. I would, depending on your needs, take a 2-1/2 gallon when your tractor runs out of fuel, usually as far from home as possible, and a couple five gallons to store generators etc.
