Review on Commercial Electric Airtight Recessed Baffle by Jacob Diego

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Clean, seamless finish

I purchased two of these six packs from Home Depot in July 2014 and used them to replace 12 mid 1980's polished Alzak Gold reflectors for 6 inch back box brackets, installed in my brand and style I tried the 6" All-Pro Recessed APERT707WHT high gloss finish with a white baffle (it is not advertised as airtight). Installation environments but I found that the height of the bottom of the All-Pro Pro version allowed me to see between the lamp and reflector side and it wasn't attractive or finished/professional looking solved that problem for me I think the Alzak design I replaced had more height and a more curved top, although they weren't airtight either and that extra height didn't allow for any visible space/gap These commercial electric cones don't have one Gaps for a clean and modern look. This was an inexpensive upgrade for my home and I received a lot of positive feedback from guests at home about the improvement. Alzaks used compression "springs" to hold them in place in the can, and these CEs use "rabbit ear" torsion. hanger. With this design I had to bend the mounting brackets in my recessed glasses as mine were still flush in the glass as this style was never installed/used. They weren't as easy to install as Alzaks, but once I got the hang of it (no pun intended) they all went in with no problems. I am satisfied with this purchase / this product. In September 2014, I paid $39.84 for a 6-pack at my local Home Depot store.
