Good thing cats love this more than my furniture so bad as it was it still saved my couch. It broke two days after buying it. The lower part of the bar was torn off by the cat's weight simply pulling on it. My cat is less than 2 pounds so we didn't have a fat cat to use. We went to the store, bought a piece of plywood and attached it to the floor. We also bought a piece of artificial grass and glued it to the plywood. Then we had to find the right nuts and bolts to connect the bar to the plywood. After some old-fashioned design, we managed to make it usable. We've had him for a few months now and the sissel is falling off the cardboard post. I will definitely buy something cheaper in the future.
