Great leash, thin clip

The leash itself is fairly solid and the soft handle is surprisingly comfortable without being bulky. The additional seals around the cable connections are also a nice touch. However, the clip is incredibly thin. I thought it was hard steel, but it's a cheap alloy that will break sooner or later. The current plan is to remove or ignore the clip and instead use a carabiner to attach the leash to our dog's collar or harness. Training if the clamp often twitches I would be careful when buying this product.
