My house was built for a giant I think because the ceilings are so high. In the bedroom I needed this move in, the ceiling is at least 15, if not 20 feet high. The fan hangs low, but not low enough to reach the pole that was on it. The previous train is about 1.5 feet long. It had a little ball on the end so I could barely touch it with my fingertips and not grab anything. This new tension adds about an extra foot, and it's a straight stretch that I can actually grab and pull. That's incredible. I can finally reach for my flashlight and turn it on and off without getting up on my bed and looking like an idiot waving my hand trying to catch the fan's draft.
