When I bought this adapter I was under the impression that it would work with an EF-S lens as advertised. What you'll see upon purchase is the presence of a USB port, which prevents the EF-S lens from even getting close to the mount. Overall, the adapter does what an EF lens is supposed to do. I love it and use it all the time with my BMPCC4K. The 3 stars are mainly due to the fact that the adapter had to adapt the EF-S lens. I had a few hiccups when I had a set of EF-S 10-18mm lenses and had to use the Zeiss 21mm as the widest lens. If your kit only contains EF lenses you will love this adapter as I do for all my EF only lenses.
