When I bought this adapter I was under the impression that it would work with an EF-S lens as advertised. What you'll see upon purchase is the presence of a USB port, which prevents the EF-S lens from even getting close to the mount. Overall, the adapter does what an EF lens is supposed to do. As you know, speed boosters are very cool. With my Sigma 18-35mm it reads at f/1.3. The field of view in 4K is slightly more cropped compared to Super 35 on the C100. At 1080p it's a bit wider.
