I run a small wholesale business and work at a farmers market during the summer for a small fee. I needed a scale that could (1) look good, (2) weigh 20-40 lb bulk boxes, and (3) weigh 1-5 lbs. Shopping at the farmers market. I bought this because it fit my budget and supposedly met all three of my needs. Unfortunately, this has bothered me a lot in the past few months. At first the wing nuts holding the platform to the top of the spring bar kept falling off until I gave up and bought some self-locking nuts from the hardware store. The scale itself can also be annoying as it sometimes jumps to one side or the other, which could be corrected with the jog dial at the top. If you focus on the price and are willing to tinker with it, you'll be fine. However, I would not recommend it for those on business or short-tempered.
