I ordered this Classic Tower salt and pepper set because I saw a pair of the same salt shakers in a restaurant and was looking for a salt shaker that didn't shake the salt out as quickly. The salt shaker in the restaurant had holes small enough to easily control the amount of salt dispensed. The pepper shaker had large holes which is normal for ground peppers - much easier to control. Both shakers I received had the same top with large holes. Salt spills out VERY quickly, even though there are only 6 holes, it's almost impossible to "lightly" salt anything. Since there is no mark for salt and pepper, you need to pay attention to the size of the holes. These two are identical. I did get two pepper shakers, but for less than $7, it's not worth sending them back. Be careful when looking for a salt shaker that doesn't over salt your food.
