Review on πŸ“± Adjustable Portable Laptop Holder - Aluminum Alloy Desktop Mount for 10-15.6 Inch MacBook, PC, Notebook, Tablet, and Thinkpad by Chris Lacasse

Very important. Is working. Portable

Supplied in a drawstring cloth pouch in a box. I got it to support a 17" Dell XPS laptop just to raise the top of the screen a few inches and leave some air space underneath the laptop because it gets pretty hot at times. Remarks: All parts with sandblasted aluminum. It's a rougher texture than on the laptop, but aesthetically it's nice. The swivel joints at the ends and in the middle of the crossbar are riveted. They are solid enough but not strong enough to expect very long life once you pack them up. Under load (I don't know how much, but most likely not much) the rivet pops out and then ... the job is done. Frame. They are well placed, well bonded, and there are enough of them. Height adjustment braces attach to the top and insert into the holes in the base of the stand. Racks fit fairly tightly into the holes at the base of the stand. The height adjustment is two-handed and you don't want to be doing this with a laptop on a stand as the standoffs are quite flexible (they're attached to the top rail, it's not a high-precision hinge). It's a great product for static use. I think foldability is more about reducing the size of the product during transit than giving the street fighter a reliably packaged device. I think it will last forever in my use (turning the laptop on and then off a few times a day)... it looks pretty good too. So for this money it's just fantastic for me.
