Great safety razor! excellent finish and packaging, good weight and feel in hand. The butterfly opening is smooth and the product does not feel cheap. I found this to give a fairly aggressive shave compared to the Merkur 34C (my everyday shaver). It took me a few days to get used to this razor, but I'm sure I can get better results with more practice. The blades that come with them are good, but not the best I've used. For the price, this razor could definitely be a good addition to your arsenal, but if you're just starting out with wet shaving I would suggest trying a softer razor.
