I was very happy to find a toothpaste that not only soothes gums but also increases sensitivity. I bought a larger tube after my dentist gave me a sample. After a few days of use, my lips were incredibly chapped and almost constantly burning. I assumed it was winter so I loaded up the lip balm to no avail. Then my mouth got so sensitive that even things like ketchup and mustard felt like jalapenos in my mouth. Between my lips and inside my mouth it hurt so much to eat or drink. I was thinking so hard about what could be causing it, I finally googled toothpaste allergy and the first thing that came up was that the symptoms included extremely chapped, dry and sore lips. I went back to my old toothpaste and my mouth has improved. Very strange, and I'm not the type to be allergic to many things, but it was uncomfortable. I just want to warn those who are very sensitive and allergic to things that you may wish to pass on to this one.
