Description of 🏋️ Lightweight Oz Chopped Strand Fiberglass: Optimal Strength and Durability

Use for "print through" barrier between gel coat and woven roving. Use as a bond layer between layers of woven roving. Use to build thickness - about 1/32" or .030" per layer. Uniform strength and stiffness in all directions. Conforms to mold details better than woven roving.

Strands everywhere are good for laminates and composites

Actually looks like mice and the quality seems good but strands fell off everywhere as soon as I opened the package making it impossible to work or for my purpose to use (indoor art, sculpture). However, if your purpose of use is different, then this may be a good product for you. Just think of the mess.

Pros
  • Laminates and composites
Cons
  • Sundries

Good mat, strong, tall physique. Easy to use.

I've only used a little of this so far but that's what they said. If you're used to Bondo's fiberglass mat, it's thicker. It fits well after it gets wet, but before that it gets quite stiff. Really no complaints. Depending on your application method, you may not even notice it. (I use a brush, not a roller).

Pros
  • Raw
Cons
  • Long delivery

Yes, it's powdered. on fiberglass

the powder in the bag is visible, which means that it is compatible with epoxy resin, complex but not compressed when laid out on the table, lay flat immediately, no damage at the folds or to see any weaknesses in the haptics. Be careful with it, it seems more fragile than a polyester resin styrene bonded carpet, overall I'm happy with it, if I need more I will buy it again.

Pros
  • fiberglass
Cons
  • there are doubts
