We chose these to save money on the old giant halogen spotlights. We have 4 headlights, two on each side of the garage. We didn't bother to check how much power the old monsters actually used, but keeping them running 24/7 didn't come cheap (laziness and forgetfulness don't help). right when the sun is at its peak. You've already saved us a lot of money. Our old lamps had a slightly more orange hue, these are much whiter (5k daylight) but not quite in that annoying blue spectrum. I would compare the warmth/coolness of the light to stadium lighting. Right in the middle. This purchase was for a set of 4 so they aren't exactly cheap but if you don't already have a built in dusk/dawn sensor for your lights and forgot to turn them on/off then this is your answer.
