Review on Quality Tools Adjustable 200 Inch Vanadium by Chris Brazington

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Handle Markings INCORRECT

Appears to be of decent quality, especially for the price, but the gradations are odd. Major increments are in 15 inch pound increments (e.g. 20, 35, 50, etc.). Minor increments in 1 in-lb increments. However, if I start at 20 in-lbs and turn the knob that appears to be 10 in-lbs, the reading is now 35 in-lbs. changes by 15 inch pounds! This leads me to suspect that the markings on the handle are wrong. I can still work around this as long as I'm aware of the mislabeling, but be careful! (I'm an aerospace designer and use different types of torque wrenches so I have an idea of how these things should work.)

Pros
  • WEAR RESISTANT: Durable torque wrench has solid construction of heat treated chrome vanadium steel
Cons
  • Slightly torn
