Review on 🎀 White/Silver Morex Ribbon Swirl Ribbon, 2.5 Inch x 50 Yards by Amanda Castillo

This was the first Christmas decoration I bought this year because my Christmas tree was gold and red this year. I wanted to wrap gold around my tree. I received this tape in a beautiful spool with lots of tape, way more than my 7.5ft tree needs which was a surprise. However, I encountered two inconveniences with this volume; First, the band isn't flashy shiny gold, it's exactly what I was really looking for. It's definitely gold, but a muted version. almost beige-gold, if you will. Second, the tape is stiff, so twisting it around the whole tree was a HUGE challenge for me. It literally took me two hours to place it correctly so it doesn't look like it's going to fall off in some places. Also, part of my spiral weaving consisted of making the arches in a straight line (see image), which made it even more difficult for the surrounding ribbon to stay in place since I was making the arches with stiff ribbon. Ultimately, the tree looked spectacular with this spiral tape, but over the following weeks I had to adjust the tape from time to time to keep it on my tree. But for the price I definitely think it was a good buy and as I mentioned before although I spent a generous amount on decorations there is still a LOT left. If it wasn't for the muted gold and stiffness I would give it 5 stars. So I give him 4/5 instead. I hope my review was helpful.
