Men's clothing is generally better cut, more durable and tends to be running size. I bought the size small and have enough room to tuck my clothes underneath - here in New Hampshire we often wear flannel shirts and underneath thermals, sweatshirts, etc. (I'm always cold!) I wear flannel shirts as they are lightweight. Jackets for gardening or casual home wear. This shirt is made of 100% cotton and the fabric feels comfortable; I washed it before wearing and threw it in the dryer - the color didn't bleed, there was no appreciable shrinkage or wrinkling (I took it out of the dryer and hung it up right away). I know from experience that 100% cotton will soften over time (like good jeans) so I expect years of use. Buying clothes online can be difficult, so I try to choose quality brands. This is a really good shirt for both men and women.
