Excellent for removing fur from certain types of materials, especially smooth materials like microfiber. I tried using it on one of my coat collars which was a ribbed cotton blend and it ruined it by simply pulling on the fabric and forming little coils of fabric and driftwood. This is not suitable for fluffy material you care about, it will ruin it. It works great on my couch and collects all the fur in one spot like a broom with dirt, but the problem is that it doesn't actually collect the fur, it just sweeps it up. You still have to use a lint roller or vacuum to actually remove the fur, which is quite a shame as I'm under the impression this thing picks up fur as well. Overall, for the price, it's worth it.
