One Foot in the Pool: Northside Goggles II (aka "Goggles ") Waterboot Review, 3/5 stars

So you're looking for water shoes for your little one and you've come across the Northside Goggles II. I'll give you quick and dirty: you're fine. Simply good. The glasses feature a solid construction and a sporty design in a fun anthracite-orange color combination. But other than that, there's nothing special about these shoes. They adjust to size, hold onto their feet and protect them from sharp rocks and anything lurking beneath the surface. So, mission accomplished I suppose? But if you're looking for shoes that will knock your socks off (or stay on your feet without socks while you're in the water), goggles might not be the best choice. The design is a little chunky, the materials aren't particularly breathable on hot days, and there aren't any standout features that set them apart from other water boots on the market. All in all, the Northside Goggle II water shoes do their job, but they won't set the world on fire. If you are on a tight budget, this is a very practical option. But if you're looking for something more stylish, you can keep browsing.

Pros
  • Fits well and worked well for my daughter. She uses them on Boy Scout trips and they seem to dry quickly and are easy to clean.
Cons
  • Limited color options may not appeal to all children and their personal style preferences.
