This is the first set of specialty tools I've used on a planted aquarium, so I'm comparing them to the more common items I've used around the house (scissors, spatula, etc.). Overall the feel is much better than the lack of specialized tools and better control. I suppose professional tools would be much better (at a higher price point) but these fit me just fine. So far they are holding up well and are not broken or rusted. I give them a quick wipe before storing them away, so I suspect they will eventually rust if you aren't careful and keep them damp (same goes for all other metal tools). My favorite tweezers so far, they are just the right size and length and also help to bury the dwarf grass well in the gravel which is a lot easier than the standard short tweezers which are too small. Curved scissors are also good for cutting leaves from the stem deep in the gravel.
