Nice USB 3 speed boost

Tired of uploading music to my phone's micro SD card at USB 2 speed, I bought some cheap USB 3 card readers, to speed things up. This iFlash memory card reader works great. The build quality on this device is good, better than some card readers I've had in the past, but nowhere near what you'd expect from a premium hardware company (like Apple). This is certainly enough to connect any card and plug it into the USB port. The cover fits well, but since it's not attached to the reader in any way, I assume it will eventually get lost (not that it's really necessary). USB 3 ports on a few different computers and with a few different cards. As expected, the card used is the biggest bandwidth limiting factor. The old 32GB Class 10 Micro SD card averaged 20MB/s, while the newer 64GB UHS-3 card averaged 30MB/s. Maybe faster cards will run at even faster speeds. As expected, this reader works best with a USB 3 port with a noticeable performance boost. Performance was within the margin of error of another USB 3 card reader I tested. There's really no reason not to love this. It's cheap and meets my expectations. **Disclaimer - I received this item at a discount (or free) in exchange for thoroughly testing the product and writing a comprehensive, honest, and unbiased review.
