Review on Pack G8 Halogen Lighting Replacement Dimmable by Linda Porter

I bought these bulbs to replace blown bulbs in my GE microwave oven under the cabinet. I thought it was good value for money but as they say you get what you pay for. The 1st bulb came on with no problems, but the 2nd bulb had no problems. I broke 3 of these trying to plug them into an outlet. All 3 broke in the same place - where the pins come out of the base and where the base enters the sockets. All 3 shattered into small pieces and 2 of them left a pin stuck in the socket. Every time one broke I would take the old bulb and put it in a couple of times to make sure nothing was getting stuck in the socket and causing problems and every time the old bulb went in and out with no problem. It wasn't until the 4th lightbulb that I finally got one that didn't break. I think that's why they are sold in packs of 10. Once upon a time, both bulbs work perfectly and shine as bright as the originals, but we'll see how long they last. Spend the extra few dollars and buy better quality lightbulbs.
