I broke my screen the classic way, caught my foot on the cord and crashed the whole thing. I knew the warranty was expired but I still called Toshiba to inquire if the warranty was expired. I was told it would cost about $350 to replace the screen, a new computer cost me $400. So at work I searched YouTube for a tutorial on how to replace a Toshiba laptop scene. The screws are very small so make sure you have a small screwdriver otherwise it couldn't be easier. It's really easy, 8 screws to remove and a connector to plug in, the new screen took about 5 minutes to install, it works like new and saved me at least 2 weeks without a computer and $290. If your screen is broken and your computer is out of warranty, replace it yourself. DO NOT PAY SOMEONE TO REPLACE YOUR SCREEN FOR YOU!
